Hello Jewels and Gents,

I hope that you all have been inspired to shop your wardrobe with me. I've been having a great time discovering new ways to be creative by maximizing the items in my wardrobe. My "shop less and save more" challenge has reminded me of my years as a young mother; not always having the budget to take myself on lavish shopping sprees as desired. However, when the opportunity presented itself I would make it a point to purchase items that I could continue to ReMix.

I purchased this cute cream vintage United Colors of Benetton over-sized sweater dress about two years ago. I found this dress at a vintage store for about $12! I decided to ReMix my burgundy suede -Michael Kors calf boots,  along with my multi-color snakeskin clutch that I scored from one of my ReMixed parties for FREE! To complete my look, I stacked gold bracelets on each arm, and added my gold rings with lots of bling. For an extra splash of sass, I mixed in my amber drop earrings, bracelet and ring.  I'm so glad that I rediscovered this dress!

ReMixed Tip: It's not how much you spend on clothes. However, it's all about the way you ReMix it!

Be inspired,

Selena

"You have to know that you are good enough and worth it. Once you master belief in yourself, no one can steal it from you." ~ Alex Elle

Hello Jewels and Gents,

Happy spring to you. I trust that you all are doing well. Today’s blog will be slightly different from the previous blogs. This blog, along with many others has been sitting in the archives. Therefore, I’ll consider this as my #TBT or throw back blog.  These photos were taken in the fall of 2016!  At the time I wasn’t happy with the photos. Fast forward nine months, I happened to be clicking through my blog archives and realized that these photos aren’t so bad after all. Besides, I really like my black sweatshirt dress, I liked it so much that I wanted to blog about it.

This black sweatshirt dress is amazingly comfortable, cute and conveniently easy to style. On this particular fall day, I added a little edge to this dress by including a black bandana as an accessory. In addition, I ReMixed my sassy Steve Madden studded open toe, cheeky chunky heels.  Lastly, for more sass, I ReMixed my black and white clutch, silver rings and dainty diamond stud earrings. What I love most about this dress is that I’m able to ReMix this dress in the fall as well as the winter. During the winter months I ReMix this dress with booties and cute tights, calf length boots, oversized scarfs and fun accessories.

Be Inspired,

Springs looks are on the way!

ReMixed Tip: It's not what you wear, but how you Remix it!

Hello Jewels and Gents!

It’s been a while, I trust that you all are doing well. I’m excited about spring! However, I must admit that for the first time in my entire life I was excited about fall/ winter only because of my FABULOUS fall/winter wardrobe. Needless to say that in Georgia we only had about ten days of winter. Therefore, I was ecstatic when the temperature dropped for a few days, just enough for me to ReMix one of my favorite sweater dresses.  I scored this FABULOUS sweater dress last summer on clearance for less than $10.00. When I discovered this FABULOUS sequin vintage Adrienne Vittadini dress from a local vintage store I immediately fell in LOVE!

The beautiful sequin details made this dress very easy to ReMix. I simply added my frisky fuchsia strappy sandals – DSW.  Along with my metallic gold clutch – BCBG, Gold teardrop earrings and gold rings.

ReMixed Tip: Hidden treasures are often found “off season.”  As a young mother on a tight budget and a fetish for fashion.  Finding fabulous clothing for a fraction of the initial coat was an absolute sport for me! Just because a piece may be out of season doesn’t mean it will go out of style!

Hello ReMixers,

I trust that you all are doing well, shaking things up, following your dreams and living on purpose. I wanted to share one of my favorite "throw back" looks with you. Believe it or not, this denim on denim GAP ensemble is about twenty years old, thankfully it still fits. For a look of ease on a rainy day, I ReMixed this look using two shades of denim, I like the contrast of light and dark denim. To give my look a splash of edge, I cuffed the sleeves of my darling denim jacket and added a glamorous gold brooch that I found at a local thrift store. I accessorized my look with a pair of beautiful  brown drop amethyst earrings, a melon inspired statement ring and my vintage Etienne Aigner camel clutch. Lastly, I ReMixed my Sam Edelman camel colored booties with fabulous floral embroidery and laced tassels. I purchased these beauties at DSW

Selena
