"Seasons of waiting are designed to prepare you, stretch your faith, and get you ready for everything that's coming next." ~ Mandy Hale. Hello, ReMixers! Happy fall to you all. The calendar indicates that we're in the second week of fall. However, where I live, it's fall, but not so fall, we're still experiencing temperatures in the mid 90's. Therefore I haven't been motivated to start pulling out my fall pieces just yet. Truthfully, I'm enjoying the warm weather. With that said I wanted to share how I ReMixed my Ann Taylor floral city shorts into three transitional looks. For the first look, I layered my denim blazer - Ann Taylor, over my off white satin camisole - Banana Republic. For my second look I layered a denim shirt from Forever 21 with the same city shorts. Look three is what I ReMixed for a get-together during Labor Day weekend with just the city shorts and BR cami. Keeping the same accessories for each look. I ReMixed my chandelier earrings and clear pumps with gold trim both from - BCBG. Gold brooch was thrifted for only $3.00. I included my gold cuff rings and threaded necklace - ReMixed Boutique. I can't forget about my favorite fuchsia lace clutch from DSW.
ReMixed Tip: While waiting on the temperatures to catch with the season, don't be afraid to incorporate fall transitional pieces into your summer wardrobe! Now is a great time to start layering.
